In December 2024, China Insurance Security Fund Co., Ltd. (CISFC) released the Risk Assessment Report on China Insurance Industry in 2024 (the “Report”) in Beijing. It’s the first time that the Report was released in the form of public publication. The Report contains four parts: economic and financial environment, state of operation of the industry, industry risk assessment, and expert observations. On the basis of reviewing the internal and external environments of the insurance industry in 2023, the Report provides a comprehensive description and analysis of the state and risks of the industry. The Report has also collected six observation articles from members of the Risk Assessment Expert Committee for Insurance Industry, which have presented the experts’ latest research results on key areas, hot topics, risk management, etc.

    CISFC has compiled and released the annual risk assessment report on the insurance industry for ten consecutive years since 2015. The annual risk assessment report provides a methodical look at the state and risks of the industry and serves as reference material for insurance regulators, institutions, and the industry as a whole. Its aim is to promote better risk management capabilities within the industry.
