From September 18 to 26, 2019, Yu Hua, Chairwoman and General Manager of CISFC, and Wei Zhuyong, Deputy General Manager of CISFC, led a delegation on a business exchange trip to the Belgian Guarantee Fund for Financial Services, the Fonds de garantie des assurances obligatoires de dommages (FGAO), the French Insurance Federation (FFA), and the Guarantee Scheme of German Life Insurers.

At each stop, the CISFC delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with the host on various aspects of insurance guarantee funds, including management framework, legal basis, fund collection, and risk resolution, as well as the related experiences. These discussions have made it possible for CISFC to adapt the proven frameworks and experiences of its foreign counterparts to the Chinese market.

CISFC is planning more exchanges with guarantee funds around the world to further expand its management capabilities. CISFC is committed to remaining true to its original aspiration and strengthening the “last line of defense” against the risks of the insurance industry, in order to contribute to the nationwide prevention and mitigation of financial risks.
