In January 2021, CISFC held the Q1 investment strategy meeting via video link. Relevant personnel from 13 investment managers and custodian banks attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed China’s macroeconomic developments and bond market trends and CISFC’s portfolio investment strategy in 2021, trained the attendees on CISFC’s 2021 investment guidelines, and communicated requirements for the management of entrusted assets in the near future.

The meeting stressed that each investment manager should: (1) work with CISFC to promote the investment of more CISF’s entrusted assets and management of liquidity portfolios; (2) strictly comply with the relevant investment requirements of the 2021 investment guidelines, more closely monitor information on any bonds in CISF’s portfolio, such as negative public sentiments and rating adjustments, and stringently control the credit risk of the portfolio; and (3) maintain ongoing, effective communication with CISFC to ensure the high-quality management of CISF’s entrusted assets.
