In November 2021, CISFC held the Q4 investment strategy meeting through a combination of in-person discussion and written reports. Relevant personnel from 13 investment managers and custodian banks attended the meeting.

The meeting listened to the market views and operational strategies of the investment managers and investment advisors for the coming months and their comments and suggestions on portfolio management, and communicated requirements for the management of entrusted assets in the near future.

The meeting reiterated that each investment manager should: (1) put the finishing touches on their entrusted investment activities for 2021, take good advantage of swing trading opportunities in the bond market, and gradually increase the return on CISF portfolios, thus achieving the annual objectives for return on investment; (2) continue to follow the investment philosophy of “keeping robust appreciation of entrusted assets while ensuring their safety,” and formulate and improve the 2022 investment guidelines; and (3) continue to maintain close communication with CISFC to ensure the high-quality management of CISF’s entrusted assets.
