On June 25, 2019, China Insurance Security Fund Co., Ltd. (“CISFC”) held a discussion meeting on feedback for the 2018 China Insurance Consumer Confidence Index (the “Index”). Zhou Fuping, a member of CPC CISFC Committee and CISFC’s assistant general manager, made important remarks at the meeting.
At the meeting, the index compilation project team of CISFC’s Risk Monitoring Department provided an overview of the compilation of the 2018 Index and the key findings of the Index survey. Extensive exchanges and in-depth discussions were also conducted on options for optimizing the compilation of the Index, cooperation on the Index survey, and other topics. The attending representatives from insurance companies unanimously believed that the regular compilation and publication of the China Insurance Consumer Confidence Index would assist the industry listen to the voices of consumers, understand demands of consumers, and improve service quality. They hoped to continue to cooperate with CISFC in the Index survey.
Representatives from ten insurance companies that have been involved in the Index survey, including China Life, Pacific Life, Taiping Life, Sunshine Life, AIA, Union Life, PICC, China Life Property & Casualty, Taiping General Insurance, and Yong An Insurance, participated in discussions at the meeting. They proposed constructive suggestions on the frequency of the survey questionnaire, the topics, methods and forms of such survey, etc.
